One of our main conference goals is to help establish a collaborative marketplace where participants can match their skills and needs, where projects can find resourcest. We have a 40,000 plus exhibition hall with over 160 exhibitors signed up. This will serve as the " heart" and "meeting place" for the conference. The Golden Sun Foundation for World Culture plans to use their Smithonian Silk Route materials to create a Global Village kind of atmosphere complete with a village square, music and dancing.

The Jhai Foundation works in Lao PDR, with the people of Lao, to help overcome the effects of war and create opportunities for future generations.

The Jhai Foundation is about reconciliation. We focus on relationships. In each relationship we try to see the humanity in the other. We overcome our denial, tell our stories, mourn, make amends, as appropriate, and do what we can to strengthen our friendship.

We like self-help. We are interested in impact. We are most interested in relationships. We are demonstrating how, after such a devastating war, people from opposite sides can reconcile by working side-by-side. We are working in education, economic development, health, and technology.
