Solar Living Centers

Charles is the director or SEAD. a not-for-profit, Educational Corporation that designs and installs Solar Living Centers. Formed in 1980, as a living and learning"Communiversity", it has a track record equaled by few alternative energy advocacy organizations. In the recent past SEADS has initiated a "Basic Solar Curriculum Development Program". The basic program will lead to in-depth, hands-on, intermediate and advanced programs, possibly leading to certification and recognition as Solar Energy Installation professionals. The SLC can be designed with budget considerations that make them affordable for almost everyone. Since beginning with an original group of six participants in 1980, SEADS has now worked with thousands of people. At festivals, fairs, homes, and schools, SEADS has adhered to the groups original statement of purpose "... to promote awareness of solar energy capabilities...".
