Contemporary Dance Wyoming is a regional dance company committed to making dance accessible to underserved populations through outreach, public school residencies and formal concerts. Based in Jackson, Wyoming this 7- member company directed by Babs Case, is the only dance company in the state, bringing a vital cultural resource to the region. The pieces performed at Sustainable Resources 2003 are choreographed by Contemporary Dance Wyoming member Amelia Terrapin, inspired by her recent certification as a ZERI (Zero Emissions Research & Initiatives) practitioner. ZERI has provided a meaningful context in which to make dances and has infused her work with hope and a certainty of our bright, collective future.
