Sustainability

Co-founder of the Peace Corps, Dr. Albertson served as a consultant to the World Bank, the UNDP, AID, UNESCO, the Peace Corps and other agencies on projects and programs dealing with environmental engineering, water and sanitation, water resource development, on-farm water management, appropriate technology, village development, small industry development, research and education. A Professor at Colorado State University for over 50 years, his long list of honors include "Engineer of the Year", Colorado Governor's "Award of Merit for Science and Technology", and honorary doctorates from Peshawar University, the Asian Institute of Technology, and Lowell University. He's published more than 200 papers and is a founder and president of Village Earth.
