Intentional Communities for the Poor

Larry English is an Architect and Urban Designer who since 1993 served voluntarily to establish Habitat for Humanity in South Africa. He has also served on the International Board of Directors of HFH International. Larry initiated and directed the Jimmy Carter Work Project. He has since been appointed as the Director for Urban Development for Habitat for Humanity International - Africa and the Middle-East. Larry was educated at the Universities of Port Elizabeth and the University of the Witwatersrand. He now works as the Director of Programme Design and Innovation & Urban Development, Habitat for Humanity International
