Talks and Workshops

For the past decade, NREL's Village Power program has assisted developing country partners in using renewable energy solutions to provide modern energy access for water, productive uses, health, education, communication, etc. At the World Summit on Sustainable Development last year, the global renewable energy and international development community launched the Global Village Energy Partnership which builds on the Village Power program and forms a truly global partnership of multilateral and bilateral donors, international practitioners and in-country partners. During this presentation, I will discuss activities and results of these programs and how NREL supports these efforts.
