Presented by Solar Energy International (SEI)    

Renewable energy resources of solar, wind and water can improve the quality of life and promote sustainable development throughout the world. This three-day seminar focuses on applications for renewable energy technologies in developing countries: how to successfully accomplish sustainable development projects with renewable energy, effective technology transfer methods as well as the economics and financing of renewable energy projects. Case studies will be presented on solar cooking, solar food drying, rural household electrification, rural health care, and micro-enterprises utilizing renewable energy.
