What's Next?
There are a multiplicity of ways Sustainable Resources could grow into
the future. Which directions and projects become real depend almost completely
on the inspirations, resources, funding and efforts people like you who
are reading this decide to support. Please join us in whatever ways you
can: by offering suggestions, time, and donations.
A main Sustainable Resources goal was to become a "launching pad"
- an interactive nexus connecting complementary skill-sets and resources
that would initiate new partnerships and projects. That's happened. Many
new inspirations are finding substance and becoming real. As a day-to-day
effort, we're continuing this process to the extent we find time, funding,
and volunteers. This may re-circulate into another Sustainable Resources
conference, something more focused, or something altogether new. In harmony
with the Einstein quote about not being able to solve major problems with
the same mind-set that created them, we're trying to stay as open as possible.
Doing conferences is just one tool for working on the larger Sustainable
Resources vision. We now have a huge set of partners, skill-sets, good
will and connections; can direct a focus toward almost any important influence.
Our original and continuing mission is to help organizations doing good
things to be come more successful. If you have any projects or new dreams
where we might be able to help, please let us know.
As a way to garner more funding for Sustainable Resources, Steve Troy
is working on reviving his renewable energy/appropriate technology business,
The Sustainable Village.
If you know of any good business opportunities, please email him, steve@sustainablevillage.com.
As always, your support and suggestions are most welcome!
