Focus Day $50 Ages 16-28
This one-day Youth Focus program
will include mentoring in small groups, conversations with young leaders,
and include all conference presentations.
The Schedule :
8am -- Arrive
at the CU campus
8:15am –
Gather in UMC outside of the Glenn Miller Ballroom for an overview and
orientation to the conference.
8:20-9am --
Break into small mentor groups .
9am-12 -- Morning
Presentations
Choose from three workshops:
Organizational Sustainability, Resources, or Community Building.
Workshop will include several presenters and a period of questions and
answers. See conference schedule for detailed listing.
12-1:30pm
-- Lunch (not provided) and ceremony with the “Children's
Torch of Hope”
In 1986, during the first Earth
Run, The Torch of Hope was carried around the planet touched by millions
of people. During lunch on Saturday, Oct. 2nd, all of the youth
attending the conference will join together to put their intentions
and dreams for the future into this powerful symbol of hope.

-- Afternoon Presentations
Attend the presentation of your
choice. Gen7 is sponsoring: “HIV/AIDS: The Greatest Challenge
for the Next Generation," with Brother Jeff Fard, Robin Bohannan,
Devin Grisamer, Melanie St. James and Marcilio Nhampossa.
3:30-4pm --
Break
4-6pm -- Closing
Ceremony in Glenn Miller Ballroom in the UMC.
6-7:30pm –
Dinner (not provided)
8:00–11:30pm Global
Dance Party – $5 – With Samba Dende (Brazilian),
Abdul Doumbia (Mali), and Wild Life Rhythm Keepers in Glenn Miller Ballroom
in the UMC.
