World
Pulse's mission is to unleash the global power and leadership
of women and youth through media.
World
Pulse Magazine is founded on the belief that there is
a different way to look at the world and the problems facing our
planet than the view currently presented to us by most news sources.
As
a news magazine we tackle the difficult issues; as World
Pulse, we never leave our readers without a solution that is working
somewhere in the world, and we tell these stories from the perspective
of powerful, leading women and bright, visionary children.
Because
women and children have traditionally been left out of
important decision-making dialogues, we believe that the mainstream
media, many world governments, and community planners have ignored
positive solutions to overwhelming problems, and in the process
have disregarded the needs and well-being of more than half of humanity.
World Pulse aims to reverse this trend both within
the pages of the magazine by promoting solutions-based coverage of
international issues by leading women and visionary children, and
by encouraging a similar response in mainstream media, politics, and
community development. |

Working in conjunction with Growing Gardens, Community
Food Share, and Colorado State University, BIOS is working to create
a 6-acre garden exemplifying natural methods of farming. Through a
biodiversity of crops for food, medicine and fiber, BIOS seeks to
help feed those in our community in need of assistance. If you would
like to get involved with this project, please contact us. We hope
that this will be a joint effort, by and for our community. |
