Sponsor A Travel Scholarship for a Participant
Make it possible for grassroots leaders to come to Boulder and share solutions with each other.
Last year we had requests for travel assistance from more than 300 people from developing countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Central Europe. Through scholarship assistance from people like you, we were able to distribute over $20,000 in 2003, but with requests totaling over $400,000, we need to increase our scholarship fund drastically. Successful innovators in economic development, renewable energy, education, as well as food, water and shelter, these people will be representing the world's most dynamic organizations.
The diversity of the participants and the range of information distribution were one of the key factors in the success of Sustainable Resources 2003. |
We would like to make this conference available to qualified applicants based on the following criteria:
- Geographic distribution
- Gender/ethnic diversity
- Relevance of work to conference themes
- Contributions of organization or individual to sustainable development
